Goa
sunshine, shopping and relaxation

We headed into Goa at night and stayed one evening in Panjim, where we found a Dominos Pizza for a bit of Comfort food. Not that adventurous or gourmet, but much needed after recovering from Delhi belly.
The next day after the usual frustrating and long wait (2.5 Hours in intense heat with broken air conditioning) we managed to book the train ticket to Mumbai, before heading on the bus to Mapusa. There we took a Rickshaw to Anjuna (they are fancy models in Goa, they even have doors!).
The next few days we chilled, firstly at Anjuna beach resort, with a pool. This was a bit out of our budget so we headed to Marys Holiday home for the next couple of days. We didn't fall in love with Anjuna beach and actually preferred Baga beach a couple of Kilometres away. We also found a nice restaurant called Nishas, the Tandoori Snapper and Tikka Paneer here were divine. The rum soaked Banana Foaster was a nice end to the night for desert.

We headed to the Saturday Night Market for souvenir shopping. It was really good, with music and a bar, and loads of great products. Other than that we just did nothing bit sit in the sunshine and recharge.
After some much needed time to recoup we caught the train up the west coast of India eventually arriving at our last destination Mumbai.
