Hello all,

Having a hectic and hot time in New York. We thought New York was the city of abusive cab drivers but, oh no it's the city of pug dog owners! Where ever you go there is a pug dog. So far we have seen the Chrysler building, Manhattan from the Rockerfeller centre, Grand Central station, the mighty Times Square, Dakota building taken lunch in central park. Had great food in Chinatown and Little Italy that you could not Fuggettaboudit!

The ferry to Staten island was fantastic and free! Glorious weather in the 30's (80's). We saw an amazing sunset over Manhattan just below the Brooklyn bridge yesterday. When we get the chance we will upload some of the 500 or so pics we have taken ( Yes Mark is seriously snap happy!! Diane)
Greenwich village was really chilled out, Jazz players in the park. Yesterday was Labor Day, a public holiday so lots of free events all over the place. So that was really cool.

Well we leave for Washington DC tomorrow. So we'll let you all know how the capitol looks later.

i hope your having a smashing time while were all stuck in rainy and cold England!its been really cold latley! i have been wearing my bed socks in the day and for bed. lol! Its really strange without you but hopefully your backpacks aint too heavy coz it might give you back ache and thats not good coz you might not enjoy your journey as much. Hope you liked the card that i made you both. I made it with love!lol Byeeee! Megz(again)
